GEOGRAPHY of SIERRA LEONE
Located on the Western Coast of Africa.
8°31′N
13°15′W (Freetown).
Bordered by Guinea to the North, Liberia to the South East, and the Atlantic Ocean to the West.

EAST: plateaus with high mountains, where Mount Bintumani reaches6,390 feet, the highest point in the country.
SOUTH: Drainage Basin in the Moa River
CENTRAL:lowland plains, containing forests and farmland that occupies about 43% of Sierra Leone's land area.
WEST:Sierra Leone has about 250 miles of coastline.
Freetown, the national capitol, sits on a coastal peninsula, next to the Sierra Leone Harbor, the world's third largest natural harbor.
